Boomers, Stories, and the Bridge Between Generations

We, the so-called “Boomers,” have lived through everything from rotary phones to smartphones — from handwritten letters to emojis.
Yet, I sometimes wonder if we’ve truly passed down our stories — not just the facts, but the feelings behind them.

When I talk with my grandchildren, I realize they live in a world so different, yet our emotions are the same. Fear, hope, love, loss — these never go out of style.

That’s why I wrote Living Crazy Like Fly: to remind every generation that growing up isn’t just about time — it’s about transformation.

If you’ve ever felt misunderstood by the younger crowd, tell them your story. You might find they understand you more than you think.
