Caryn has served as the news editor for The Victims Advocate in Jacksonville, Florida, and held leadership roles as both Vice President and President of the Florida Writers Association. She is a proud member of Pen Woman and was the President and CEO of her own company, POW! (Promoting Outstanding Writers!). She also hosted her own radio show, The POW! Show, on WJGR 1320 in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the years, Caryn has received numerous literary and poetry awards.

Caryn presently lives in Peru, Indiana, where she is working on several writing projects. She enjoys reading, movies, writing, shopping, antiquing, concerts—and misses her Florida friends and family dearly. Living Crazy Like Fly is celebrating 25 years in print in 2025. Caryn is thrilled to celebrate the rerelease of this special edition, which includes more of her story.
Her next release, Deep Into Dreams, will be a mix of poetry and short stories. The sequel to Fly, focusing on the college years, Dancer, will follow.
